Each dog is different, but your prong should NEVER be a necklace.
We only recommend Herm Sprenger Prongs made in Germany. Never get one from your local pet store.

Here’s a good graphic for everyone needing a reminder about proper collar placement for a prong. There are always exceptions but this is how we want a prong fitted 95% of the time. Not my photo.

AGAIN! Please message me if you need a referral or are unsure if a boarding/training/daycare place will work for you. I have TONS of GOOD references. Remember, bad people work in the animal industry too. Thank you!

THANK YOU!!

I want to give a big thank you to all my clients! I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to board, train, daycare, etc so many dogs. I met so many great people, friends, etc! Your doggies all have a place in my heart. 🩷 I appreciate the kind words and encouragement for me to pursue another avenue. I know my move & going back to school was very abrupt. It was a last minute thing for me as well. I will always have a passion for doggies and miss all of you. I’m excited to be back home with my family and in school. Thank you all so much! Please stay in touch. I will still be offering training here and there as needed on the westside and whenever I can get to Ellensburg! 🩷🐾🩷🐾

-I will still be posting helpful advice on here, updates, etc 🩷

Whether it's a "rescue" or "trainer," PLEASE DO RESEARCH. I'm begging you. The animals are counting on you!

Ask to see where the animals are kept. Ask for vet references. Ask the community and look for videos and posts on the animals' care. ESPECIALLY after they've been taken in, adopted, rehabilitated etc. Look for actual reviews. Not just reviews posted by their friends or reviews they paid for.

How long have they been in operation? If they have moved, can they provide refrences from other states as well? What's the follow-up process on animals they've taken in? Has animal control ever been called to their house? Have animals ever been removed? Are they transparent about their training process? What insurance do they use? What protocols are in place to keep animals safe?

There are so-called trainers and rescues that have changed their names and are still operating after animals have DIED IN THEIR CARE. DIED BECAUSE OF NEGLECT. Heat stoke, freezing to death and living in deplorable conditions. Dogs being shot. Bandages not being changed on animals, 70 + animals living on less than an acre. Run a background check if you have to.

Fresh water and clean kennels should be the bare minimum! Dogs should be played with, cared for & socialized, not just left in a cage all day.

I won't name names, but the bad apples stick together...

Just because they have a 501c3 or certificates don't mean a damn thing.

It's happening all over the country and right here in Yakima and Kitittas County. They're operating in plain sight. The pet industry is a BILLION dollar industry. Greed and corruption exist. It's up to us to do our research to keep animals safe.

PLEASE look into who you train with and what rescues you support. Background check, check the facility, etc. It’s sad to see such an increase in bad practices. Ellensburg & Yakima especially.

If you need referrals, etc please message me!
