On a Facebook add I saw a product called Pony Patch...yes it is self adhesive emergency repair. It is 39.99 a kit. It will work. It is the exact same product for sale on Amazon for a lot less. We do repairs, and in some circumstances this has worked for shoulder repairs on some blankets. We have another secret we use along with this tape, which is heat this tape fitted to the blanket with an iron(no steam) and then we sew it by machine to insure it works. We also use regular Iron on patches as well, but we caution the product must be clean. Applying this as Pony Patch advises will work to get you thru a storm, but may not last more then the storm or a season...we also say NEVER use Ducktape, or Masking tape to perform a a quick fix(the adhesive can't be removed, and a professional will not be able to remove it from your blanket at all, and can't sew it either as the glue clogs the needles and the important area at the foot plate below and can damage the machine. The product sold by Amazon is a water proof Canvas repair tape for tents and upholstry and is cheaper then another product on line...and 4"x 70" long, Might take 2 boxes for a repair on a long blanket, but certainly cheaper then the commercial horse prouduct. If in Doubt talk to your repair person and we always recommend at least one replacement to get thru bad weather. Every patch we do usually is sewn down to make it durable for multi seasons.

SOLD ALL THREE/Doris is working on cleaning wool saddle pads for sale. This is double sized, folded in half. Another happy customer with a summer cover that needed to be shortened 5" along the back, from the front neck to rump over tail. Stretchy material, now the tail cover works as it as the rump length is fixed. Thank you Tammy.
