We lost our little Gracie today. She leaves a huge whole in my heart. She came to us as a stray, probably dumped. She was a mess but I found that sweet little girl under all of that. She was 8 when we found her and she passed at 16.

These 3 doodles were dumped at a campground in Kentucky, skinny and terrified. Despite it all they are still friendly babies! They need to make the ride up to Indiana for grooming, vet care and to find their forever homes. Do you have a spot for one of them to crash while we handle the rest?

This is Vito and he's looking for his forever home. He is a pint-sized cutie, 4 months old and needing a safe place where he can grow! Likely a Jack Russell-Rat Terrier mix, he is totally able to sound an alarm notifying you about new people or animals in his space. Not sure how he ended up on the side of a highway, but his forever home will need to have a secure fence and household members dedicated to keeping him safe with leash walks and training to stay away from open doors. Update: the owner has been located and Jessie will be heading home later today!!

This little senior sweetie was found near the Cobblestone Martin's parking lot early March 31st. AVID chip sold to South Bend Animal Control in 2010, but never registered. Found without collar.
