Michiana PAWS Industry Spotlight: Dog Groomers!

Grooming is about so much more than looking good! The right groomer can make a big difference in your dog's comfort, confidence, and emotional well-being.

As part of our mission to build a community of trusted referral partners who share our commitment to positive, science-based animal care, we're highlighting dog groomers who prioritize kindness, safety, and your dog's individual needs.

What should you look for in a groomer? Someone who understands canine body language, recognizes signs of stress, uses gentle, fear-conscious handling techniques, and adapts their approach to help each dog feel as comfortable as possible. Grooming should never come at the expense of your dog's emotional well-being!

Check out our latest industry spotlight to learn more about what makes a great groomer and discover some of the professionals and businesses we trust to put dogs first.

Know a dog owner who could use these recommendations? Please share this post!

Finding the Right Pet Care Team Starts with Shared Values!

One of Michiana PAWS' missions is to build a community of trusted referral partners across the pet care industry who share our commitment to positive, science-based approaches to animal care.

Whether you're looking for a dog trainer, groomer, pet sitter, or veterinarian, the professionals you choose can make a big difference in your pet's physical health, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life. We believe pets deserve care that prioritizes kindness, safety, understanding, and respect.

We're highlighting some of the professionals and businesses we trust who share these values and are committed to putting animal welfare first. We'll be sharing these industry spotlights as a series, starting with dog trainers! Each flyer will introduce trusted providers and highlight the qualities that make a difference in the care your pet receives.

Our goal is to connect pet owners with professionals who believe in doing better for animals. By building relationships across the industry and supporting one another, we can help create a community where positive, humane care becomes the standard.

Follow along, share these spotlights with fellow pet owners, and help us grow a network of compassionate pet care professionals throughout Michiana!
