2 county fairs and a million memories made! Congratulations to all of the Skye Farm students who showed at the Sheboygan County and the Calumet County fairs last week! It's always such a privilege to watch riders achieve the goals that they have worked so hard for all year!

Rare lesson availability!!
Right now, there is one "after school/ work" time slot available for the entire week.
Tuesdays at 5pm
What I would like to do is fill that spot with a youth beginner or intermediate group lesson!
I have 2 lesson ponies available, so youth only. Both are beginner safe, but one needs a slightly older/ stronger kiddo for the ride to be as fun as possible!
Please contact me directly and/or fill out my lesson intake form (if you haven't already) if you feel like your kiddo might be interested in riding in this group!

Here's a picture of Mr Ghost kitty in his banana bed, just for fun 🤣

There is nothing quite like watching confidence grow one stride at a time. ❤️

These two riders have been putting in the work, and seeing them canter around the arena with smiles like these is why we do what we do. Our lesson ponies deserve credit too—they're the best teachers.

If you've been thinking about starting riding lessons (or getting back in the saddle), we'd love to help you build confidence, develop solid horsemanship, and have fun along the way.

Every great rider starts with a first lesson.

Let's talk haul-in lessons
I've had many people express an interest in hauling their horse in for a lesson with me just occasionally. Once a month or just as needed. I'm totally on board with that!
Here's the tough part: students who can commit to getting here every week will get priority when it comes to lesson times.
What I recommend is to reach out to me a week to 2 weeks before you would like to haul in for a lesson and see if I happen to have any cancellations or available time slots. I will do everything in my power to get you on the schedule! And I will make sure to send you home with as much homework as you think you can handle!

Dinero Update!
It's been a bit, but Dinero's owner, Katie has continued his care plan and she has him looking amazing!
This is his first run through the pattern in over 6 years! Proof that navicular isn't a death sentence or a career ender anymore!
Hopefully we can all cheer for them at a show or rodeo soon!

Updated availability! Only 2 spots left!
Happy spring! Hopefully everyone is defrosting and setting their riding goals for this year!

Here are my current available after school lesson times for HAUL IN lessons only:
Tuesday 5pm
Friday 5pm

At this time, all of my lesson horses are booked for the entire week.

🎉Happy retirement, Addie!!🎉
After many years of teaching kiddos to ride, Addie is retiring and returning to her owner Grace Culwell to be pampered for the rest of her days.

We were so fortunate to have her on the lesson pony team and I know she will be very missed. But I also know Addie is going to be much happier with the winters in Texas!
If any of Addie's past students want to stop by in the next few weeks to give her a retirement treat, please do!

Skye Farm is excited to offer two unique winter horse camps!
"Winter Wrangler Workshop"
Learn, care, and connect — barn life in the winter!

Step into the barn and discover what it takes to care for horses during the coziest season of the year! In this hands-on hour, kids will help with real horse chores — from feeding and grooming basics to learning how horses stay happy and healthy through winter. Perfect for young animal lovers who want a “behind-the-scenes” look at life in the barn.

"Pony Sparkle Studio"
Where manes shimmer and hooves twinkle!

Bring the magic of winter sparkle to life! Kids will get to brush, braid, and decorate a gentle pony with colorful ribbons, tinsel, and (safe) sparkly hoof paint. It’s a creative, cozy, and memorable horse encounter — perfect for anyone who loves a touch of glitter and a lot of pony time!
