Please be mindful of when you set your trash out, especially when rain is in the forecast.

The garbage haulers physically lift the trash cans and bags to empty them. If your barrel does not have drain holes in the bottom, rainwater can collect inside and make the barrel extremely heavy.

Please help them keep trash pick up sustainable by making sure your barrel has drain holes in the bottom, Avoiding putting excessively heavy bags out for collection and Keeping bags securely tied and not overfilled.
