Dixie seems to be a little better this morning. She finally went potty and I got her to eat a turkey sandwich. Currently she is watching Paisley play.

She's home relaxing, still pretty drugged and sad about the experience but sure had a wagging tail when I picked her up.

Miss Sweet Dixie was spayed yesterday. She was an amazing mother to all of her puppies. She whelped 33 healthy beautiful Labradors. She was always extremely attentive to her pups when they we first born, we usually had to bribe her with food to go potty. She hated nursing when the pups got teeth but she did it for me. Dixies Momma Dog days are done and now she can relax and enjoy the more of the small things in life like following my kids around for extra food and snoring on the couch. Her surgery was successful. however, she had to stay the night in the hospital due to some excessive bleeding from the removal of her uterus. She is doing well and should get to come home today. Here's a little picture I got of her before they took her back yesterday.
