While many families are enjoying the long weekend, pet care doesn’t exactly punch a time clock. We’re grateful for our KPC team members who show up to make sure pets are fed, comfortable, exercised, and cared for right in their own homes.

Hello, September! 🐱💜

Cats may have a reputation for being independent, but when their people travel, the little things still matter: fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, playtime, companionship, and someone paying attention to what’s normal for their cat.

That’s why our cat visits are about much more than filling a bowl.

11 weeks post total knee replacement, and today I did my first very limited pet visits. 💜🐾

I’m not quite ready to be fully back yet, but I’m getting some practice in with Joe and seeing how my knee handles it.

And then I got to see Miss Zoey. 🥹

I didn’t realize how much I missed her! It’s been about 6 months since I’ve walked her, and we’ve been caring for Zoey since she was just a puppy. She’s almost 6 years old now!

One of the sweetest parts of pet sitting is getting to watch our KPC pets grow up through the years. Seeing this girl again made today feel extra special.

A few little steps back into the job I love. 💜🐶🐾

Ending August 2026 with one of our favorite views: a happy pup, a good walk, and an Elk Grove sunset. 🌅🐾

Dog walks aren't just about getting outside. They're a chance to move, sniff, explore, and enjoy some one-on-one attention.

That happy face says it all. 🐶☀️

These pups enjoyed fresh water, outdoor time, plenty of attention, and a little sunshine during their KPC visit. Sitter Kayla reported that everyone was happy and doing well.

Professional in-home pet care means keeping familiar routines going while giving each pet the attention they enjoy.
