BARKS Behavior Improvement And Rehabilitation for K-9 Success We are an all-volunteer group, with a pending 501c3, serving Central PA's shelters and rescue.

We all have different experiences with rescue work and shelter dogs, and we saw a need in rescue work. Dogs end up in shelter or rescues for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to behavioral issues. Shelters and rescues often have trouble keeping up with the cost of medical and behavioral care for their dogs. Our goal is to be an ancillary group that will help make funds and programs a

vailable for training and to address behavioral concerns. Our programs are designed to help dogs get the behavioral rehabilitation they need to be adopted. As this program develops and grows, we will help as many dogs as our funding and resources will allow. We have designed several programs to help accomplish our goal, including scholarships, seminars, and our Trainer for the Day Program for less severe behavioral concerns. We don't have all the answers, but we believe through our efforts more dogs will get the help they need to be adopted.

Come out and see us tomorrow at the, 3rd Annual Proud Pet Day Weekend Event, will be happening this year on June 13th and 14th at Forney Polo field on Church Street in Lititz.
