My third blue tort, but this time it’s a doe. I haven’t named this pre-junior yet, so I need to find her a name soon.

When you pair Cody’s Sunny with Cammack’s Rupert and only one baby survives from the first-time mom’s litter, but as the weeks go by, you realize you definitely need to repeat that pairing. And now you have two blue torts, one junior and one pre-junior. 🥰

First-time mom had her baby outside the nest. When I found it, it was very cold. I hope the little one will be okay.

A new litter of four today. Sunny, as always, did a great job and is a super mom!

When you learn to understand the genetics behind the pedigrees of the juniors you have growing in your rabbitry, you learn to be patient and trust the process because you know that what you see one month can look completely different the next. Sometimes we need to sleep cuddled up with someone to feel more at ease. 🥰

We already have several babies from our beautiful Shanley’s Helsinki. Today, three new babies of his were born. 🥰

A few months ago, Shanley’s Speckles came to our home. She is beautiful, and I truly love her so much because she is such a sweet doe. She is also the daughter of one of Shanley’s rabbits that is my favorite. I bred her a few months ago and was hoping to get a broken black like her and her grandfather, but I only got two blacks and a tort from that breeding. Today, she surprised me. From a breeding between her and Shanley’s Helsinki, I received this beautiful gift today. I’m super happy, and I know a little six-year-old friend of mine here in KY who loves Speckles is going to be very happy to see that Speckles had a broken black. 🤍🖤

I’ll be as beautiful as my REW grandfather, Burg’s Ruby Tuesday 🤍
