13yr old yellow lab mix (more white tones) jumped his fence in the 50th block of Main Street Mount Joy. He may or may not be wearing his collar. He’s an intact male. Friendly but shy sometimes. He’s not chipped. Will be reporting to MJPD.

UTD on vaccines, house & kennel trained. Raw diet. Trained in English & French with foundationals & basics. Sleeps in bed with you at night, all night without issues. Good with other dogs, large & small breed. Raised around children & chickens. Parents were both health tested, embarked (clear) OFA certified. Mom is a service dog, nice drive with a level headed on/off switch. Dad is titled in French ring sport, also with laser focus, but level headed and stable. Kreed has an excellent temperament, exactly like his father. Highly food motivated, super confident, was hand raised, runs to noise. Loves water, showers with me every night too (🤪) My plan was to title him in French ring, and learn the sport. Unfortunately life threw me a crippling curve ball and I don’t think it’s fair to him to not be on the field. But due to my diagnosis as much as it breaks my heart and before he becomes more attached to me, I’d love to see him go to a working home. He was born 2/18/25 in my home. I also own his mother & aunt. He’s almost 5 months.

If you know anyone looking, please have them reach out. The only thing I would ask is you keep his name. He knows it well and it has a very special meaning behind it. All his tactical gear & toys will come with him.

The Department of General Services is proud to announce that Pennsylvania Capitol Police Police Officer Bradley Rohrbaugh and his K9 partner, Rex, have been recognized by Governor Josh Shapiro with a Governor’s Awards for Excellence, one of the Commonwealth’s highest honors for state employees.

Officer Rohrbaugh and K9 Rex are being recognized for their decisive and courageous actions during a rapidly evolving incident at the Pennsylvania Capitol Complex in late 2024. While responding to a report of a person armed with a firearm near the complex grounds, Officer Rohrbaugh — relying on training, instinct, and teamwork with his K9 partner — helped bring the situation to a swift and safe resolution.
