THIS is what we do not do on private property.

This man is someone we do not know approaching my dog on our property, walking closer while actively saying:
“I don’t want to get bit…”

…while STILL continuing to approach her.

Please do not ever assume that because you follow someone online, know their dogs through social media, or have seen videos of them being sweet that it is okay to approach them uninvited on their own property.

Dogs are still dogs.
Protective instincts are real.
Territory matters.
And approaching unfamiliar dogs while carrying a stick is an even bigger trigger.

Thankfully nothing happened here, like me coming out and yelling at this person because that’s what will happen if I catch this behavior….

Please respect boundaries, fences, kennels, homes, and private property.
For your safety and theirs. 🖤🐾
