Potty training in the works! 💩 It's a process that requires multiple steps: 👇
1.) Place disposable pads in their potty trays. Move individual puppies onto the trays after they nurse to teach them that is where they go potty (a lot of watching and waiting for them to do their business!).
2.) Add shavings on top of these pads - it helps reduce the odor.
3.) Remove disposable pads under the shavings once they get a routine down.
4.) Slowly start to move the potty trays further away from their play/sleep areas.
5.) Move the potty trays outside after doggy door🚪 training.
By 8 weeks of age, they are usually using the potty trays 90-95% of the time 👏
Every time we see them use their potty trays, we verbally praise them ✅
Multiple times per day we are cleaning, doing laundry, and picking up a LOT of p**p 💩 💩 💩 💩
