So proud of this boy! 🐾
Harold has come such a long way. He isn’t an aggressive dog—he’s what we call a rough player. Sometimes his enthusiastic play style can be misunderstood by other dogs, so we’ve been working hard to help him learn better social skills.
At home, Harold lives with two older dogs who aren’t interested in playing much anymore, so they understandably get a little grouchy when he tries to get them involved. 😄
Through a combination of our Day Camp program and private training sessions, Harold and his family have been putting in the work, and it has definitely been paying off. We’ve been focusing on impulse control, reading other dogs’ body language, and learning that not every interaction has to be full speed.
In this photo, Harold is practicing impulse control and learning to make good choices around another dog instead of immediately running over, body-slamming, or zooming around the room. While zoomies are fun, they can quickly cause an entire playgroup to become overstimulated, so learning when to slow down is an important skill.
The best part? Harold and his family recently went on vacation, and they just gave us an update… OMG, this boy is doing amazing! His off-leash recall has been fantastic, and his interactions with other dogs have improved tremendously. Hearing updates like this is exactly why we love what we do.
We couldn’t be prouder of Harold and his family. Their consistency, patience, and dedication—both during Day Camp and private sessions, and especially at home—have made all the difference. Training doesn’t stop when dogs leave our facility—it continues every day, and Harold’s success is proof of what can happen when everyone works together.
Congratulations, Harold! We are incredibly proud of you and your family! ❤️🐾
Training doesn’t end when your dog leaves our facility or session is over —it continues at home, and Harold is proof of what teamwork can accomplish. ❤️🐶
