Everyone loves a good game of retrieve. We do not always play catch,howevrmer it's healthy to do as you can then nit pick who still needs pack work practice and manners. Such as Mozzie who is a good example of a dog that has come a very longs ways,but still needs work!

The Tuesday Daycamp crowd still got out even though was raining quite hard at one point. We did more a half day today. All the schnauzers were done with the wet by then😂. Its healthy to push your dogs comforts zones at times. Its rain after all not acid!!! The group showing off their down and sit stays as they wait for reward.

Yes I take the dogs on runs, always on turf/ground as I no longer run on pavement myself as it's terrible for your joints. Typically 2 to 3miles. Not every dog gets to join or can join. Just due to their fitness limitations or health/Breed. The ones that do not go on runs of course join the walks the rest of the day. This is both for Boarding and Daycamp dogs. 😎

Believe it or not, it's actually how I got into Border Collies, aside from a children's book. I went out on actual geese patrol as a kid with a Farmer across the way from our farm. He was hired by the golf courses of Pinehurst, NC to come out and patrol courses with his Border Collies. His were Scottish imports and were wildly driven dogs. Some only he could touch. He took me along when he saw how intrigued I was by the dogs he had, as well as my strong interest in learning more about herding. I was 10 years old at the time. But I absolutely knew then and there it was the only dog I ever wanted to raise with my heart and soul in it.
