Want to know what happened this morning???
While in and out with the daycare pups dodging the rain, I had these emails and phone calls about new dogs in need just within a few hours:

-Safe a 13 months old pit from Ohio
-Safe Rottweilers or whatever I can from Jackson county animal control.
-Safe 10 months old Rottie doodle to be killed today
- Safe Shar Pei from San Marcos. I called 3 Shar Pei rescues nobody calls back .
- Safe 2 and 4 months old cuuute puppies of kill list in San Antonio
- Desperate plea to get a newly dumped dog of the beach near Battata beach in Aruba

And now this. I really, really would like to help.
Who can please foster???? Everything will be paid by the rescue. You just need to have a spot in the cover for the dog to lay its head.

Every now and then I get a phone call from Skokie PD when they are trying to place a stray dog.
I have not seen any other PD try to network their abandoned pups this hard.
I mean I am ways out in Elgin and they call every rescue they can think off.
It's just as frustrating for them not get any help as it is for us to see dogs being destroyed in the shelters in ridiculously high numbers.

This white youngster looks so sweet.
I am full with rescue dogs as everybody else, so he can't come here, but I promised I would post him and get the word out.
Anybody interested in adopting?

I would like to ask for a small donation today in honor of my girl Daisy Daisy!

Daisy would have celebrated her ninth birthday today if Neuro axonal dystrophy ( caused by bad breeding) would not have cut her life short a few months ago.
We are over $9000 in the red with our expenses this year. Finn still needs chemo. Rave needs bloodwork and heartworm test, etc.

This is her video of her first birthday that we celebrated together.

All donations are tax deductible and can be made to [email protected] via Zelle, PayPal or Venmo.

Thanks so much.

Happy Monday!

Is anybody interested to taking animal welfare to the next level?
I attended a one day training class with the Department of Agriculture a few years back to become an "Approved Humane Investigator".
We need more folks on that matter.
Who is in?
Training will be in Springfield or Des Plaines!
Text me to get the application in.
