I sent Dale and the kids to the show in the am and met Ellie for Prince at home first thing. So some pics of the free loaders at home to start. Lol.

We need to thank those who helped get us in the ring, and especially Michelle Rauber for handling Almond and Letti. What a beast Letti was being for Elizabeth. 🫤
A good day over all with some really nice goats. The afternoon was spent wandering. We didn't partake in the corn hole tourney this year.

NYS Fair- Day 10
Showmanship first, Elizabeth and Katie were neck and neck, but Katie knows her score card better, so Elizabeth was happy with a Reserve in the Intermediate class. Some fun prizes were awarded too. ☺️
Then the Jr Dairy Goat show.
Alpines first- Hazels daughter, Treasure (SMF Walk The Plank) was second. Molly, Smudges daughter, (SMF Smudge Away Monsters) won her class. Both went back in for Grand and Reserve. Molly was awarded Grand Champion Jr doe for the Alpine breed. A huge accomplishment for us, as she is our first homebred Champion. A trophy, ribbons and a flag was recieved.
Nubians next- Juliet- Roxie daughter, (SMF Sweet Love Affair) got a 5th in a class of 8. And Valory (SMH Valentine Valory) got 6th in a class of 11.
At the end of the breed classes Molly got to stand proudly in the Alpine spot. While she didn't win- (congrats to Shannon Steven's and her lovely Lamancha!) she was blessed to stand in the ring with lots of incredible young goats.
One for the record books. 💕
I ran home for a girlfriend coming for Prince, then to tet out a hay field, do chores, and make dinner. Phew! Elizabeth rode some rides and Charlie and Dale watched some horse show.
A great, exhausting day for sure!
