A delightful pair of dogs I have had the pleasure to photograph. Found tied up outside the Concord Senior Centre by the centre’s director, malnourished and covered in fleas, Darwin and Spencer are all clean, fed, and looking forward to a new life. Darwin and Spencer can’t imagine their lives without one another. Wherever Spencer goes, Darwin follows—an absolutely delightful pair.

JC was a challenging subject, but very handsome and a joy to work with. It appeared while he loved playing ball, no one had ever taught him manners in his 4-5 years of life.

JC went off to S.A.D Rescue in Missouri before ultimately landing a new life through New England All Breed Rescue in Massachusetts! A long haul for this Contra Costa County Animal Services alumnus, but I think he was well worth the effort.

Ferdinand is one of my favourite dogs I have pulled this year. I only had him a few days as a foster and he was such a laid-back leaner. I knew he would find a good home in no time.

With his sweet, responsive nature and charming looks, it’s hard to believe Wilson was just moments from death when he was rescued. Now he is loved by many and waiting patiently in boarding for a foster or forever home.

I had a real blast photographing Chester yesterday. He’s such a great dog, it’s hard to believe he hasn’t found a home yet. His foster has to go in for knee surgery fairly soon and she is hoping he can find a home before then. Help us find a home for Chester!
