✨This is what dog socializing looks like ✨

A lot of people think that to socialize their dog properly that their dog needs to directly interact.

We want our dogs to be neutral around everything including other dogs. A couple ways to socialize your dog is to go on pack walks, group classes, or just hanging out on a bench.

Of course your dog can directly interact but I want all of my dogs relationships to be based on neutrality not overarousal.

Better late than never… everyone welcome ✨Wautzen!✨

Wautzen is the sweetest FOMO boy you will ever meet! Wautzen is a staple at group class. Some things we are working on improving is his off switch, pushing behaviors + resource guarding! His owners are elite and truly do the most when it comes to Wautzen’s well-being.

How cute is he?! 🫠🫶🏻

Welcome Fitzroy “Fitz” to the pack!

Fitz and his owner have been working to build a solid foundation for this cute curly haired guy!

A couple focus items are engagement, relaxing when people come in the house, and mild reactivity ♥️

He’s a young guy and so glad we got started with him!

Everyone welcome sweet Aiko to the pack! .aiko

Aiko is a beautiful young 7 month old gal who’s learning how to navigate this crazy world!

Today she started e collar training 🫶🏻 she is a high drive pup and has a busy brain so we need to work on her state of mind, confidence, and general obedience🤌🏻

I’m so excited to continue working with her and her pawrents!

Are your pups ready for fireworks? 💥

Start the day with lots of confidence building exercises, training sessions, and lots of structured training drills.

I know it’s instinct to want to comfort our dogs when they’re feeling scared but you’re accidentally comforting and reinforcing that fearful state of mind.

How are you preparing your dogs for fireworks? 🐾

Everyone welcome Shiloh!

Shiloh is here for a manners make over. A few things we’ll be working on is how to walk on leash, confidence building, calmness outside around distractions, reactivity, and establishing boundaries!

He will be here for the next 2 weeks and is already doing so well ♥️

Sweet Joey went home today! I am so proud of the progress we made in just a short 2 weeks! This was a great head start for Jolene’s life and she has everything she needs to succeed 💕

I’m like a broken record when it comes to advocating for your dog! We all would love a dog that is cool as a cucumber 🥒

But that is where we need to step up and be the best leader that we can for our dogs so they can look to us and trust we have their best interest and will keep them safe and happy!
