We want to give a very special thank you to Tobie’s family for honoring him and passing on his supplies to another family who needed them.

We’ve seen several boxes left by amazing El Pasoans, from toys and costumes to bags of food, and we just wanted to say thank you.

If you have pet supplies you’d like to donate, please leave them at any Pet Pantry, and please feel free to let us know. It means the world to us.

It takes a village, but it’s worth it! We’re currently operating and supporting 18 public pet pantries: our 14 library pantries, plus newer pantries at Northwest Early College High School, Canutillo ISD Student Support Services, UTEP Women’s Studies, and we even support our local shelter’s public pantry program.

You can support our mission by leaving supplies at any pet pantry, or by heading to http://epcf.org/borderlandrescuefund to have your donation go ten times as far.

Reminder: The Pet Pantries at Memorial Park and Clardy Fox remain closed until library construction finishes, hopefully in the next few weeks. Thank you for your patience.

It may be Spooky Season, but you don’t need to be frightened of pet care costs, thanks to these resources!

There are lots of free microchipping events, low-cost vaccine opportunities, and low-cost spay/neuter opportunities happening this month. Or should we say…spay/BOOter? Oh that was bad. Anyways.

Big thanks to El Paso Animal Services 🐾 Mobile Pet Vet Compassion Copper Canyon for making these critical spay/neuter, vaccination, and microchipping services available to our community.

More events may pop up throughout the month, so keep an eye on our page and reposts for updates.

We wish everyone a safe, fun, and healthy Halloween, and follow our Halloween safety tips to keep your furry friends extra safe.

Phew! What a day! 🤩😮‍💨

Today, we distributed over 3500 pounds of food to community members, alongside El Paso County Animal Welfare and El Paso County Commissioner Jackie Butler with free microchips, parvo/distemper vaccines, and flea/tick prevention.

Today, hundreds of our community’s pets are resting a little easier: safer from disease, safer from parasites, safer from going missing, and safer from going hungry. We know the next event will be even bigger.

And this weekend, another round of 2500 pounds of food are being distributed to Library Pet Pantries across EP.

We can’t do this work without you. To support our mission, visit our link in bio or EPCF.org/BorderlandRescueFund.

THIS is why we have a Rescue Pantry program. Without rescues like MuttLove Dog Rescue, these pups wouldn’t have gotten their second chances.

Thanks to our partners at Greater Good Charities, we’re able to help ease the financial burden of caring for so many, allowing animal welfare organizations to focus their funds on the stuff that really matters: getting Nora and Dixie dental surgeries, Cricket’s heartworm treatment, and just about everything under the sun for Brenda and Becky.😅🩺❤️‍🩹
