Are you looking for a way to make a meaningful difference in your community?

The Borderland Rescue Fund needs your help! 🐶

Whether you’re able to help us restock the pantries on a weekly basis 🚗, free during the week to help us divide up resources for pantry restocking 💪, or want to help us serve the community during food pantry events, we’d love to have you on our volunteer team! 👏

If you’re looking for another way to help, we are always in need of supplies to fill the pantries! From donation drives to monetary gifts, we depend on donations to keep this program running. 🐟😸

Ever wondered what our Rescue Pantry program looks like? 👀

Check out one of our summer Rescue Pantry pickups, where we divided and distributed over 16,000 pounds of food for local animal welfare organizations thanks to our partners at .

Each month, we distribute food and resources to the amazing rescuers and helpers in our community, so they can focus their funds on what matters most: the animals.

We are SO grateful for your support, GECU!

Thanks to your $5000 donation, thousands of pets and their owners in the Borderland can rest a little easier. These funds will sponsor a shipment of food, supplies, and toys to be distributed to library Pet Pantries across El Paso from our partners at Greater Good Charities.

Happy Fourth of July Weekend! If you’re out buying fireworks, we hope you’ll consider the cost equivalent of how our program changes lives in our community, without costing an arm and a leg, and possibly your fingers 😅

July is upon us, and the 4th is just a few days away! 🎆 Thankfully, we’ve got events from El Paso Animal Services 🐾, Mobile Pet Vet, and El Paso County Animal Welfare for everyone still needing microchips to ensure peace of mind this holiday weekend. 🐾❤️ Remember to prepare early to keep your pets safe and secure during this weekend’s fireworks!

June is packed with ways to protect and celebrate our pets, El Paso! 🗓️🌵

With National Microchipping Month and National Pet Preparedness Month both here, it’s the perfect time to get ready for summer.

Remember, we are just one month away from the Fourth of July, the scariest night of the year for our pets. Fortunately, and have plenty of free events this month to help you get your pets microchipped and prepared before the fireworks start! 🎉🐾

There are also two amazing community Pet Markets lined up:

🏔️ June 13th: Wild West Working Dogs Fundraiser 📍Mountain Star Brewery

June is also National Foster a Pet Month, and local shelters/rescues are in urgent need of temporary homes. If you can give a shelter or rescue pet a soft place to land, now is the perfect time to step up! 🏡❤️

May Spayathon with was a success!🥳❤️🐾

Last week, 138 pets were spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated over three days.🥹

Thank you to our community for showing up, to staff and volunteers for all their hard work, to our amazing food donations from Gabi, and for making it all possible.

We hope to have another event later this summer, so if you missed this event, keep on eye out for updates!
