☀️🐾 Summer is here, and the heat isn’t just ruff on us—it can be downright dangerous for our furry family members! 🐶🐱

As temperatures climb, help keep your pets happy, healthy, and cool:

💧 Fresh, clean water should always be available.
🌳 If pets are outdoors, they MUST have adequate shade to escape the sun.
❄️ Cooling mats, kiddie pools, fans, and other cooling options can make a pawsitive difference.
🚫 NEVER leave your pet in a vehicle—not even for a minute. Cracking the windows is not enough! Temperatures inside a car can rise to deadly levels faster than you can say “treat.”
🔥 Avoid walks during the hottest parts of the day. Hot pavement can burn sensitive paw pads. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!

Remember: If you’re hot, THEY are even hotter! Our pets wear fur coats year-round and rely on us to keep them safe from the summer heat.

Let’s work together to prevent heatstroke and keep tails wagging all summer long. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and give your four-legged friends some extra TLC! ❤️🐾

✔️ Proof of a previous rabies vaccine is required to qualify for a 3-year rabies vaccine.

✔️ If your pet is nervous, reactive, or prefers their own “tail-territory,” we can vaccinate them in your vehicle for everyone’s safety.
✔️ Please be patient—we work as fast as possible while giving every pet the care they deserve.

Tomorrow is the paw-fect time to get those tails wagging and vaccines updated! 🐾💉 Join us for a low cost vaccine event from 10a-p at sPETakular Pet Store, 11675 Montwood, El Paso, TX 79936. Don’t “paws” and wait until the last minute — prevention is the best medicine! 🩺🐶🐱

Important reminder:
🐾 3-year rabies vaccines can ONLY be given with VALID proof of a previous rabies vaccine — no exceptions.

For everyone’s safety:
🐾 Please keep all pets secure in carriers or on a well-fitting collar and leash.
🐾 If your pet is nervous, anxious, or a little extra “ruff” around the edges, we can gladly vaccinate in your vehicle to help keep stress levels from going mutts! 🚗🐕

Vista Hills will be closed this Saturday, April 25th—but don’t have a ruff day just yet! We’re unleashing the fun out in the community at the Día de los Niños Celebration, where we’ll be offering low-cost vaccine services to keep your fur babies feeling purr-fectly healthy. 🐶🐱

Come sniff us out and visit Animal Services too—they’ll be providing FREE microchips (while supplies last) and FREE dog adoptions! That’s right…your new fur-ever family member might just be waiting to meet you. 💕🐕
