Those beautiful blue eyes are hard to resist, but Lady Priscilla is so much more than a pretty face.
She’s sweet, smart, playful, and ready to make the most of every adventure. But lately, we’re starting to see signs that shelter life is getting to her, and we don’t want to wait until kennel stress takes away the happy, playful girl we know is underneath it.
Priscilla loves meeting people, going for walks, and being outdoors. She walks nicely on leash, knows how to sit, and is even clever enough to step over her leash when she gets tangled. She’s also a total water lover! Whether she’s splashing in the pool or getting a bath, she’s all about it.
And when it comes to other dogs, Priscilla is a sweetheart. She’s curious, playful, and social, often offering a play bow or lying down to invite her dog friends to join in. She’s done amazingly with other dogs, even when they don’t particularly like her. She doesn’t retaliate, she simply keeps being her gentle self.
She can be a little shy and may get spooked if someone approaches her from above, so she’ll appreciate someone who gives her time to feel comfortable. Once she does, she’s happy to say hello and soak up the attention.
We know the real Priscilla is so much more than what we see through a kennel door. She’s the girl who wants to run outside, splash in the water, play with her dog friends, and then settle in for some quality time with her person.
She’s not on our at-risk list, but we’re starting to see signs of kennel stress, and we want to help her before it gets to that point.
Lady Priscilla doesn’t need to wait until she’s struggling to find her person. She needs someone to see her now.
