Hospitalization, boarding, quarantine, and farm visits are available, in addition to routine services. Appointments are highly recommended and take priority. Another Birthday shout-out 🎉 but now it’s for our youngest and smallest member of the Paws N’ Hooves family, Emi! 🎉🎊 Since we found out about his arrival, Emi has had a special place in our hearts. He has grown alongside our Clinic, and even though he only comes to visit us on our administrative days, he already knows his way around and has a way of making our days a little sweeter! 🌈🐾 Today, we pause to remember all the beloved pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Here at Paws N’ Hooves, we feel incredibly blessed to be part of so many special lives. From their first visits and happy moments to the most difficult one of all—their final goodbye.

We are especially grateful to you all who open your homes and your hearts to us, allowing us to stand beside you and your beloved companion during their final moments. Being trusted to share such an intimate and emotional goodbye is something we never take for granted. 🤍

To every family missing a cherished pet today, please know that we remember them, we grieve with you, and we carry their memory in our hearts.

The high temperatures continue! 🌵🐾
We want to remind everyone to keep their furry family members safe during the hottest months of the year.

🐶 Did you know? • Asphalt can reach temperatures of 140°F+ when it’s only 95°F outside. • Pets can suffer heatstroke in just minutes. • Leaving a pet in a parked car—even with the windows cracked—is NEVER safe.

☀️ Fun Fact: Dogs and cats don’t sweat like humans do. They rely on panting to cool down, which means they can overheat much faster than we realize.

💡 Summer Safety Tips: ✅ Always provide fresh, cool water ✅ Walk pets early in the morning or after sunset ✅ Test pavement with the back of your hand for 7 seconds before walks ✅ Provide shade when outdoors ✅ Watch for signs of overheating: excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, bright red gums or collapse.

If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them! ❤️🐾 Let’s work together to keep our pets happy, healthy, and safe all summer long.

Today, we are beyond excited, incredibly proud, and deeply honored to officially WELCOME Dr. Kassie Valerio to the Paws N' Hooves Mobile Veterinary Clinic family as one of our Veterinarians!! 💙🐾🩺

Her journey with us didn't begin in a white coat—it began as a client. She trusted us with the care of her own four-legged family members, and over the years, that relationship grew into something truly special.

After graduating from Franklin High School, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from The University of Texas at El Paso in 2019. That same year, she joined our very own Certified Veterinary Assistant Course and officially became part of the Paws N' Hooves team as a veterinary technician in July 2019.

For the next three years, she poured her heart into every patient she cared for, every family she comforted, and every lesson she learned alongside our team. We watched her grow, cheered her on, and celebrated when she was accepted into the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.

Fast forward to 2026, she proudly graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine!!

Now, the journey comes full circle. 💙🐾

From client... to student... to technician... to Veterinarian!

Watching her achieve this dream has been one of the greatest privileges for our entire team. Her compassion, dedication, and love for animals have always shined through, and we know she is going to make an incredible difference in the lives of so many pets and their families.
