After 17 hours on the road Team UCAPS arrived in Minnetonka, MN at 3pm to deliver 21 dogs and pups at our rescue partner. We were greeted by a team of staff and volunteers that helped unload, get their photo taken, feed, water and prep for foster pickup.

It’s an incredible operation and we are privileged to work with them and get the opportunity to find homes for our dogs.

We are excited to share what the other side of the transport process looks like to illustrate how important transport is to all rescues.

At 3am this morning we loaded our first of 3 transports that will take place today.

A total of 26 dogs and 4 cats traveling to 3 different rescues. Some have been adopted already and many will go into foster care.

These efforts will clear kennels for the day, but there are already 12 puppies waiting to fill the spaces that we desperately were hoping to have vacant to ease the load.

The total cost of these 3 transports is several thousand dollars to cover all of the requirements.

Donations today can help us cover gas for our transport vehicles that will be even closer to $4 per gallon as we head north. Please help us get these special passenger to their destination by donating today.

The HAPPIEST journey has ended with two happy tails!!! 🐶🐶

Ollie and Rivers journey started as two
unwanted pups from Union County to living the high life in Massachusetts as NEIGHBORS (with a pool)!!!!

After spending the last two months being fostered by the Winkenwerder family, these two lucky brothers hit the road on the Pack Leaders transport bus Thursday morning and made the long journey to their new homes, new families and best of all getting to spend their lives as neighbors!!!

Support of UCAPS and our mission is what made this possible. A wonderful foster family, transport and love made this the happiest ending we could ever imagine!!!

We have house full of puppies, one of our main air conditioners went out today with 100 degree temps, we have an $887 electric bill and we just got word we were not included in a critical transport we were depending on that was scheduled for next Wednesday.

Please help if you can as this week cannot get much worse.

Happy Gotcha Day Luna!!!!💕

Luna came to us 7 months ago days before the big ice storm. Although she is the perfect size and the silliest girl, being black and pittie made her chances at finding a home very slim.

Luna’s new family was looking to open their home to one of our dogs and she was the one that picked them and showed them what a great dog she can be.

Happy Tails Luna!! We will miss your silly self!!
