Meet Liberty, our star-spangled Pet of the Week! Born on the Fourth of July, this adorable three-month-old kitten has been sparkling from day one. After her mother abandoned her shortly after birth, Liberty was lovingly bottle-fed by people, and it shows in her wonderfully friendly personality. Liberty adores cuddles, makes fast friends, and gets along beautifully with other cats and dogs. She is also a playful little firecracker! Whether she is romping with animal buddies, entertaining herself, or somehow playing a game of catch all on her own, Liberty always finds a way to have fun. This sweet, easygoing girl could thrive in many kinds of homes. She is not high-needs; she simply wants a loving family, a safe indoor home, and plenty of affection. If you are looking for a cuddly, social, independent kitten with a bright personality, Liberty may be your perfect match!

Our team is incredibly grateful to the National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 1726 for their generous donation of nearly 1,800 pounds of pet food they collected to help care for the 120+ shelter pets currently in our care! It was a total surprise to us! 😮🎉 This remarkable act of kindness will make a meaningful difference in the lives of the dogs and cats who depend on us every day! 🐾🙏🏼❤️

Community support like this is truly the heart of our mission. Donations of pet food help us stretch our limited resources, ensure our animals receive the nutrition they need, and allow us to focus more funding on medical care and lifesaving programs. Every bag, can, and pound of food donated helps provide comfort and care to pets as they wait for their forever homes. 🐾🥰

Thank you to the NALC Branch 1726 for this successful pet food drive! Your generosity reminds us that together, we can make a lasting difference for our community’s shelter pets. 🐾❤️
