Lord decided baby drumsticks were on the menu for breakfast this morning. (PS yes I was watching them and Lord was being very gentle with La.)

Three more weeks to go! My girl has bounced back. She is still being cautious playing and bossing everyone around but that is not unusual for our females. It’s actually odd to us when they don’t adapt their behavior and activities for pregnancy. She is eating well, doing more than just cuddling, and seems to be inflating everyday. The clock is ticking and we cannot wait! collies

Got busy and forgot to put together Tui and La’s dinner until really late but that’s okay! A little bit of chicken satisfied their bellies in the interim 😄

Lolite’s little peanuts are showing bright on the ultrasound. The poor gal however is having a time with the pregnancy blues. All she wants to do is hang out and cuddle with her people. Food? Nah she’s not interested unless she is being fed by the human. If you have your own dinner she is sitting right there staring into your soul the whole time 😂. Periodic moments to visit Lycoris’ pups just to kiss their faces is also a common request. This girl is something else. A general count of the fetus’ currently is 6-8. collies

A testament to the kind of temperament Paladin and Kaki produced in their first litter. Phoenix Down went for his last vaccines and was completely relaxed. Frog legs on the exam counter and belly up in the lobby even with a very reactive dog going ballistic a few seats down. A few more weeks and he will be joining his new family! I cannot wait to see what Paladin and Kaki produce next year!

Well it is time to announce the pairing of the infamous Lolite to our teddy bear boy Nine.

She is two weeks post breeding and already showing very positive signs of a likely pregnancy. Her entire demeanor has changed, much like her mother every time conception occurred. Lolite has displayed envy toward several of our females recently who had puppies of their own so it is high time this gal show us what she is made of on a maternal stand point. I think I can speak for the both of us when I say this is a truly very exciting moment. It also feels quite odd, she is our absolute favorite in the pack and our first smoothie female potentially having a litter. We will actually be able to see a belly for once! Ultrasound to confirm pregnancy will be some time around September the 6th. So stay tuned! Otherwise the woman might come for your soul 😂. collies

Sodapop being the little weirdo that he is. Well not little because he is currently 66lbs and almost as tall as Nine. I kid you not guys Mana, a previous stud we had and the sire too three of our favorite dogs has somehow cloned himself into this chap. The likeness is uncanny and there is zero relation between the two. The only thing Sodapop is missing thank goodness is he does not pace at a trot 😂 collies
