This kind of thing just makes me sick there needs to be more regulations on our industry so you know your babies are safe. Sadly not all states have a regulating agency. Let your voices be heard and tell your department of agriculture you demand oversight!

🚿 Disturbing Grooming Video Sparks Serious Concern in Baton Rouge
Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Haley Hoon and business owner Tawanna Scott of Pet Parlor Pet Grooming LLC are facing backlash after a video surfaced "allegedly" showing a dog flailing, struggling to breathe, and appearing highly stressed during a bath. The video was reportedly recorded and posted by Haley Hoon herself. If these allegations are substantiated, we obviously know this is not standard grooming practice and this raises serious concerns about the dog’s safety and welfare, as well as other dogs, as well.😔🐶
I reached out several times to Pet Parlor and the phone just rang and rang. It didn't leave me the opportunity to leave a message to hear what they have to say. I went to comment but the comments have been restricted.
Professional groomers know that if a dog becomes overwhelmed, you slow down, stop, contact the owner, or refer to a veterinarian for a sedated groom. Blaming the dog, as "alleged" in this case, only deepens public distrust. If you believe the dog was put at risk, contact the East Baton Rouge Parish Animal Control and ask for a review of this incident. Accountability protects animals.
