Adoptable Pookie has been on countless Dogventures with our volunteers, which have been incredible breaks from the shelter for him during his 5 months in our care, but this boy is ready for his next drive to end at home!🏡
He's almost 2 years old and 65 lbs. He's a staff and volunteer favorite with the perfect cow print markings and COUNTLESS daily notes about how smart and sweet and easy to walk on a leash he is, but he just can't seem to catch the eye of the right potential adopters. We need your help to push this post into the feed of Pookie's person - they have to be out there somewhere!!🤞
Pookie's ideal home is an adult-only home with another female dog to play around in the yard with. He looooves to play chase, but only if a solid nap is promised afterwards!😴
Interested adopters can meet with Pookie at our Edwardsville shelter 11:30 to 5, 7 days a week. We would love nothing more than to send Pookie home and keep him there, so we will be offering his annual vet exams and vaccines free of charge for the rest of his life to his adopters!
