These two girls had some poolside play time at our Highland shelter, but they would love for their Labor Day weekend plans to include their new families. Learn more about them and all of our adoptable pets online at mehs.org or just stop in!

We already know what you're thinking.. "What breed?" 🤔 We don't know! But we DO know they're cute, solid supermutts and will likely be large dogs fully grown. All puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped & up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines. 🏡

After 3 adoptions and 3 returns, there were a whole lot of people around here rooting for this guy to finally find the home that stuck. And would you LOOK at Bruce now?! 🥹💙💚🧡

Couch naps, car rides, sunny afternoons and a new best friend who seems to have Bruce fully convinced that he, too, is a Golden Retriever. 😂

Seeing Bruce this comfortable, this settled and this at home is the kind of update that makes our whole day. Sometimes it takes a few tries to find your perfect match. We're so glad Bruce finally found his. 🏡

Bowie is just a baby in a big boy's body, and he's ready to find his people! 😍

He's 1 year old and 93 pounds of the goofiest goober. Despite being one of the survivors of the case we recently assisted Found A Hound & the Glen Carbon Police Department with, Bowie is nothing but pure, unfiltered joy, and he brings a smile to the face of everyone he meets. He loves other dogs but would probably be best in a home without cats. 🐶🏡

Bowie is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines. Thanks to our friends at Whisker Bones Supply Co., he's been given a spaw day and is as fresh as the new start he's looking for! 🏡

Meet Bowie today at our Edwardsville shelter! We're open 11:30-5, 7 days a week for walk-in adoption hours, and we would love to see him go home as soon as possible to a loving family who will make sure his past the furthest thing from his mind for the rest of his days.
