I’m looking at my calendar for the next few months and feeling so incredibly grateful and proud. We’re starting to book out for training throughout Nov/Dec and even into 2027.

Moving the kennel location and basically starting from scratch again hasn’t been easy but it’s been one of the most rewarding chapters in my life.

To every client, thank you. I seriously have been so blessed with the greatest clients that I’ve had the opportunity to build genuine connections and relationships with! The trust you place in me with training and caring for your dogs is never something I take lightly.

I take pride in what I do and the work I provide for you guys. So thank you again for all of the support and kind words. We’re entering into the busiest season of the year for both the kennel and my personal life. So I’m buckling up and enjoying the damn ride ❤️

Our breast cancer awareness shirt fundraiser is here! 🎀

✨This cause is close to my heart. Earlier this year, I lost my grandma to breast cancer, and I wanted to honor her by supporting other women.

✨During the month of October these shirts will be available to purchase on the CTK website. ALL net proceeds from the shirts will be donated to WINGS (Women Involved in Nurturing, Giving, Sharing).

✨WINGS helps bridge the gap between a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment by providing no-cost, comprehensive care to eligible uninsured and underinsured women in Central and South Texas. Care can include doctor visits, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, lab work, scans, and medications. WINGS also offers follow-up care for survivors, support groups, educational workshops, and referrals.

✨You can order a pink Central Texas Kennels T-shirt or make an additional donation through our website. Shirt proceeds remaining after production, payment processing, and packaging costs will be donated to WINGS.

💗Shop or donate here:💗centraltexaskennels.com/breastcancer

✨We will be sharing the number of shirts sold and how much is being donated at the end of the month for full transparency. Thank you for helping us honor my grandmother and support women in our community. 🩷

Earlier this year, I lost one of the most important people in my life to breast cancer. My grandma, Janet.

She was, and still is the person I strive to be every day. She was strong yet gentle. She meant what she said and did exactly what she said she would do. She was nurturing yet protective, with a confidence and fierceness that only came with time and experience.

There wasn’t a day that went by that we didn’t talk for hours about the deepest experiences of life. She was like a mom to me, and once I became a mom, our bond became stronger than ever. She spoke with an incredible amount of wisdom and was always honest with me, even when it wasn’t what I wanted to hear. I loved that about her.

Losing her this year has absolutely shattered me and I don’t know if I’ll ever quite be the same as before. It has completely shifted my view of life and there are days when I still can’t comprehend the fact that she’s gone. She always believed in me as a mom, wife, and business owner, and her support is something I cling to for motivation every day. I’d give anything for one more phone call or to feel the warmth and comfort of her presence.

Breast cancer is a monster that haunts more families than it should and affects more people than we realize. With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I’m finally feeling comfortable enough to talk about breast cancer and what it does to people and their families.

In honor of my grandma, and in the hope of helping fewer families experience this, we have decided to hold a T-shirt fundraiser throughout October to support women with breast cancer.
