🎃🐴 Looking for more time in the saddle? Lease a horse with Silver Wind Stables! 🐴🎃

We currently have a great selection of horses available for lease, with options for a variety of riders, goals, and experience levels!

Leasing is a great opportunity for riders who want to:
• Spend more consistent time with one horse
• Build confidence and strengthen their riding skills
• Develop a partnership with their horse
• Enjoy more ride time without the full commitment of horse ownership
• Have the opportunity to attend horse shows, jumping events, play days, rodeos, and other off-property events when approved and accompanied by one of our trainers 🏆🐴

Our leases are in-barn, month-to-month leases, making them a great way to experience something similar to having a horse of your own while still having the support of Silver Wind Stables.

A few things to know before leasing:
🐴 Riders must be able to safely and confidently handle and tack their horse without a trainer present.
🐴 A minimum of one lesson per week is required for all lease riders. Lessons are not included in the monthly lease fee.
🐴 Leases start at $350/month and vary depending on the horse and intended use.
🐴 Off-property activities must be approved, and a Silver Wind trainer must be attending the event.
🐴 Horse and rider safety always comes first. Silver Wind Stables reserves the right to determine whether a rider is ready and appropriately qualified for a lease.

We’ll work with you to find a horse that fits your riding level, personality, and goals. ❤️

Check out our current available horses below! 👇 Some of these horses will go quickly, so message your instructor for more information or to find your match!

🎃 Happy riding & happy leasing! 🐴🧡

💥Job Openings Available!💥

We keep growing and therefore need some more helping hands at the ranch!

1- Looking for additional weekend help with horse care (feeding, watering, stall cleaning, horse turnout and in, etc). Horse experience is a MUST- tractor experience would be nice, but not mandatory.

2- Daily help with basic chores (stuffing hay bags and watering) in exchange for riding lessons or horse lease. Can split days between several helpers- does not require someone to do every day.

What a great night for a ride with Blake’s Silver Spur Group! 🐴🌅

Beautiful evening, great horses, lots of laughs, and an absolutely wonderful group of women. This is exactly what Silver Spur is all about—getting away from the craziness for a little while, enjoying the horses, making new friends, and just having a good time.

Couldn’t ask for a better crew to spend the evening on horseback with. 🤠💜

Great horses. Great people. Great nights at Silver Wind Trail Rides

Our Silver Wind community is devastated by the sudden loss of one of our family members. Jules Curry spent much of her youth and her early adult life at the ranch. She was a valued friend, instructor, trail guide, trainer and mentor. Her impact on humans and horses was tremendous. It still does not feel real 💔

"Short-Go Sunday"

I heard about a rodeo today.
It sounded so familiar,
though I’d never heard of it before.
None of us have ever been there
somewhere just beyond Heaven’s door.

God said you called in,
and a brand-new performance
was about to begin.

They say the calves are always fresh
and run straight down the line.
The horses are honest and quiet in the box,
and every loop lands right on time.

The ropes never fuzz,
and the ropes never fray.
Even the dirt is perfect
every single day.

The barrels never tip,
and the barrels never fall.
In this cowgirl’s paradise,
there’s room enough for us all.

They say the grandstands are filled
with loved ones cheering loud.
Our very best horses are waiting,
and old friends gather in the crowd.

But the best part of all
the announcer is Jesus.
And in today’s heavenly performance,
He called your name.

For now, we’ll stay here
and rejoice that your fees have been paid.
We’ll carry you within our hearts
until we’re called to ride your way.

And someday, my sweet friend,
I know I’ll see you again,
when we meet beyond Heaven’s gates
on Short-Go Sunday.

We will greatly miss you Jules.

**to avoid confusion, her passing was not related to horses**
