Honestly, this happens pretty often these days because my schedule looks VERY different than it did a few years ago. Since moving, I don’t shoot the massive volume I used to, and I pretty much only work weekends now. Back then, I could open 10+ spots at each sale price without thinking twice. Nowadays, offering 2- 4 sessions at a sale rate is actually a pretty big deal because my availability is so much more limited.

So when I say spots are limited… I really mean it. 😂 All but 3 out of 28 sale sessions sold this weekend, and I seriously could not be more excited to work with all of you this summer!

This sweet family is building a new home out on their property, and they chose to include their new build in this year’s family photos. I loved the symbolism behind it — new beginnings, fresh starts, and another chapter for their family.

I’ve been photographing them since little brother was still in mama’s belly, so getting to document milestones like this always means a little extra to me.

That’s honestly one of my favorite parts about being your photographer. I’m not just there for the photos. I’m your cheerleader, your documentarian, and somewhere along the way… usually your friend too. 🫶

This is my friend Amelia.
For her cap + gown session, she brought her braille machine (a Perkins braillewriter), and I just love that she and her family continue to teach me more about the blind community, bring awareness, and share both the struggles and the huge achievements Amelia navigates every single day.
I’ve been lucky enough to photograph so many chapters of her life and her family’s life since she was still in her mama’s belly.

Definitely not bandwagon Thunder fans over here! This guy & I have been cheering on OKC for years now, so getting to photograph sessions like this honestly feels so full circle.
I took his newborn photos years ago with Thunder props when I first opened my studio… and now here he is in my studio again, playing basketball and thundering up all over again 🥹⚡️

That’s one of the things I love most about the Thunder. It brings Oklahoma together and gives families memories tied to such a special time for our city. Long time coming for us real fans 💙🧡
