There’s a side of grooming few people talk about. The part about what happens when a dog you’ve groomed its whole life comes to the end of theirs. As a groomer, I’ve shared special moments with your dogs. We’ve both learned from each other. I’ve watched your pup grow up too. I’ve noticed them slowing down, developing illnesses and lumps and bumps. Believe me, when they are no longer on my schedule, I feel that in my heart. I was gifted with an opportunity to say good bye today. That’s not always an option, but I can’t even tell you how much I appreciate it. Please know you never grieve alone. Your pup will always live on in our hearts too.
