At Sunset Willow Stables, we take pride in providing consistent, hands-on care while creating an environment where horses can settle in, feel comfortable, and thrive.

Full-Care Stall Boarding Includes:

Vet visits really need a separate pain scale… except it’s for the horse owner. 😂🐴💸

Everything’s fine until you hear:

“Let’s run some bloodwork.”
“I’d like to get some X-rays.”
“We should probably scope her.”
“And while we’re here…”

Suddenly you’re at a 10 — unimaginable, unspeakable and the horse is standing there happily eating hay like they didn’t just financially ruin you. 😂

But we love them, so… swipe the card. 💳🐴❤️

💚 Meet Annie 💚

Sometimes the horses who need us the most find their way to us.

When Annie arrived at Sunset Willow Stables, she wasn’t at her best. She was underweight, her coat was dull, and she was covered in painful skin lesions that needed immediate attention.

To properly care for her, we made the decision to roach her mane. It wasn’t because we wanted to—it was because we needed full access to clean, treat, and monitor the affected areas. A pretty mane can grow back. A healthy horse is always the priority.

For nearly two weeks, Annie received regular KetoHex baths and dedicated skin care. Along with quality forage, proper nutrition, and plenty of TLC, we’re already beginning to see encouraging changes.

Her skin is healing. Her coat is improving. She’s becoming more comfortable each day.

She still has a journey ahead of her, but we’re committed to giving her the time and care she deserves.

We can’t wait to share Annie’s progress with you as she continues to heal, gain strength, and become the horse we know she’s capable of being.
