Saturday we were packed full and are exhausted. We went 2-3 on buck and 0-3 on bear. Cali tracked fantastic for these dry conditions!! All 3 bear were confirmed alive!!! Jumped them and a friend saw one later too! These 2 buck make numbers 12 and 13 tailgated on the year!

It's been a rough go lately! We take tracks if people want us to, even if we believe they'll live before we even go. I do explain my honest opinion, but often we still are asked to come out. Cali has jumped a bunch of deer recently, with several others having proof of life from hunters. We finally got off our streak of live deer and we're able to tailgate one!

Cali's busy weekend continued today. We started in Greenville at first light, then worked our way back towards home. Our 4th canceled due to jumping him today. We ended up with a gut track that went 700 yards. Track 2 was determined to be nonfatal, and track 3 was a layup. They couldn't find blood so they backed out. 2-3 on the day and 4-7 on the weekend. Not too bad!!! If no other calls come in, I might have an evening to hunt!

Cali and I had a busy Saturday! We ended up 2-4 today! Wait times are so important!!! Both recovered deer had hunters who didnt watch them fall and backed out.

We already have 2 scheduled for tomorrow, so shoot us a text if you need us before we're filled up!

Bryan got a hold of us last night for a deer he shot and jumped when tracking. The blood and evidence pointed to a liver shot. Cali and I took the track this afternoon. This deer went 700 yards on a 1 lung and liver shot! The shot was literally an inch away from a perfect hit! Up and down 2 huge ravines we went with Cali never wavering! Cali starts sneaking as we are hitting the top of the second hill (her I'm gonna get it sneak) and there it was!! We had a little run of live deer/non- recoveries and the law of averages finally worked out! This was a special track for the hunter as well! Thank you for trusting us and congratulations! Now go get your first archery buck!!!

Cali went 1 for 2 tonight. 1st track was a liver hit. Hunter did everything perfectly! He watched the buck walk 200 yards through the field after the hit. We diagnosed liver based on the info. The hunter gave it 12 hours then searched for blood... with no luck, he called Cali in. She took a bit to get on him in the field with the wind blowing, but she ended up locking on and taking us to this beast!

Track 2 was a 48 hour unknown hit. A previous dog was on it but went in the opposite direction as the deer at the 24 hour mark. Cali straightened out the freshly cut hay field and took us to his bed. She took us another 400 yards from there to a corn field. At that point, there were major signs of bear and Cali didnt want to progress the track. We reset and she did the same thing in the same location. The hunter decided to call it at that point. Still uncertain if this one is dead or not... hopefully she gets another Crack at him!
