I feel like I have to say this. I see it so much and before anyone gets upset with me I know there are exceptions to the rule absolutely. However I see more and more people just surrendering dogs due to old age or never home or outgrew them or the dog has some issues that can be corrected if tried a lot of the time. I actually own my most difficult dog of all right now. Sophia. She was given to me through a client. She has growled and barked and been neurotic and anxious and many more things. Very challenging. But on her worst day it never crossed my mind to surrender her. Or give her to someone. We have used medication and other techniques and she’s so much better now. I have been given dogs that were too old by others. And it was an honor to see them through till the end. I would never tell anyone what to do but I guess I’m saying before you make the decision to get a dog make sure your lifestyle fits the dogs lifestyle. Research the breed. A bulldog was great for Jerry. 🤣Puppies are not for the weak. Rescues need time to adjust. And get along with your other animals. To them to finally have a home only to be uprooted for reasons they don’t understand breaks my heart. 💔Had to say this. 🐕🦺🐕🦺
