Our Louis could open cupboard doors back in the day. Matt used to keep the treats in them, so he eventually learned how to do it. We ultimately had to move them so he wouldnā€™t eat the whole bag but we would still hear him opening up the doors in the middle of the night, right up until he passed. Seeing Fi do this was heartwarming and brought back such sweet memories ā¤ļø

*Female 1-3 years old
*Spayed and current on vaccines
*Hometown is Chicago but currently lives in Edgerton
*Currently shaved due to extreme matting when she was rescued, but itā€™s growing back fast!
*Perfect litter box use. Not 1 accident!
*Brave, inquisitive and a go getter. You wonā€™t see her hiding under a bed.
*Follows you around for body rubs and loves being pet. Total attention seeker while not too over bearing (Prefers sleeping next to you not on you)
*Outstretches her paws when sleeping
*FIV+ but can live with FIV- cats safely! (This requires no medication or extra work! Just has a lower immune response than usual)
*Can co exist with cats fine (lives with our two right now!) but doesnā€™t prefer them. (She will hiss but minds her own business otherwise šŸ¤—)
*She LOVES a dogs company! Would be the best outcome for her to go to a home that has a dog!

The left is her now. Healthy and growing back her new coat. This is the difference fostering makes. Canā€™t thank Community Cat enough for saving her. And canā€™t thank the entire team (well over 10 people at LEAST) who made her rescue from Chicago possible.

Ever since I started fostering I havenā€™t really been given the chance to introduce my fosters to my family. Thereā€™s always been other circumstances that have prevented that. But here we are! Fi is exploring the bedroom and our boys Tipper and Yondu. Itā€™s been a slow go and Iā€™m trying to keep it a positive experience for everyone. Short visits, lots of treats šŸ˜»

Everyone keep your fingers crossed as we expand the territory for her and introduce her to our pup Morgan soon!
