We specialize in working K9's, high energy breeds, behavior modification, and offer a spectrum of pet dog services to our select clientel with an emphasis on owner education. Black Hills K9 LLC was founded in 2021 with the goal to become one of the leading companies in the industry through consistent and reliable solutions for your dog training needs. We pride ourselves on professionalism, communication and education providing effective programs that produce every day results. Our training is a balanced approach with the understanding that there is no "cookie cutter" answer and no one solution for your dog. We emphasize the necessity of building a relationship to enable strong communication between dogs and humans. Our commitment to our clients is to provide effective foundational training backed by owner/handler education and continued effort that produces positive results for the lifetime of your dog. The services we offer our pet clients range from on and off leash obedience programs through our private lessons and group class. Our educational background gives Black Hills K9 the ability to be comfortable working with dogs that others may refuse due to aggression issues or other problem behaviors. We are confident that we can find the right program for you, your lifestyle, and your dog in order to build a positive and lasting relationship. Black Hills K9 also offers many services to our working dog clients. Our goal is to be able to produce some of the premier detection dogs in the country in narcotics and explosives detection. We hope to meet your agency's needs in this increasingly dynamic and demanding environment of today's law enforcement, military, and search and rescue. As Black Hills K9 grows we are looking to increase the standards of what it means to be a professional dog trainer, as well as, eventually focus on our passion as a Veteran owned business to add a training package for service dogs to specifically provide them to veterans in need.
