๐พ๐ VET STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK SPOTLIGHT ๐๐พ
๐ค Meet Reannah, also known as lil Rere, or lil Angie (IYKYK๐)! ๐ค
Reannah has been working in veterinary medicine for over 5 years, and working as a valuable member of our team at Edgefield Veterinary Clinic for almost 5 years! Next month actually marks her anniversary with us! ๐ฉบ๐ถ
๐ Ever since she was a little girl, Reannah has had a passion for helping animals. Working in veterinary medicine has always been a dream of hers, and she hopes to make a difference in the lives of as many animals as possible! One of Reannahโs favorite things about this career path, is watching a sick or injured patient make an incredible recovery. She says seeing an animal go from struggling to thriving and getting back to its happy, healthy self is one of the most rewarding parts of the job, especially when they beat the odds!
๐พ Her furry family: Reannah has two dogs โ Willow, an Australian Shepherd/Collie Mix and June Bug, an English Golden Retriever. She also has six cats! Her favorite animal is a giraffe, however her heart belongs to every one of her cats and dogs! ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฆ
โ๏ธ Outside of work, Reannah loves to spend time with her family and friends, spend time outdoors, and take her dogs on walks when the weather is nice!
โญ A fun fact about Reannah is that she has her own pet-sitting business on the side! So even when sheโs not taking care of her patients at work, she loves to take care of them after hours! Also, despite being 24 years old, her mom still makes her doctors appointments for her! ๐คฃ๐ฉท
๐คฉ We asked her what her favorite part of working at Edgefield Veterinary Clinic is, she responded with; โThe people I work with arenโt just my coworkers, theyโre my FAMILY. I know without a doubt that they would do anything in the world for me, and that means more than words can explain.โ โค๏ธ
๐ Three words that describe her: Loving, Compassionate, and Determined!
๐ฌ One thing she wishes pet owners knew: โI wish pet owners knew that veterinary medicine isnโt always just cute puppies and kittens. Some days are incredibly hard, especially when we do everything we can for a patient and still end up losing them. There are days that are emotionally exhausting, and more often than not, I carry those moments home with me. We grow attached to our patients, and we feel those losses too. Itโs not always an easy job, but despite the heartbreak and hard days, I wouldnโt trade what I do for anything!โ
๐พ Thank you, Reannah, for your hard work, dedication, and compassion for our patients! Weโre so thankful to have you as part of the EVC family! ๐ฉท
๐ Many of you know and love her, so help us show Reannah some love and gratitude in the comments! ๐พ
