I wondered where all my Lavender Birchen Marans and OE Back-cross eggs were this week... then I caught my dog crunching on eggs, and I KNEW!!!

These guys were free-ranging with an open coop, and my puppy was sooooo enjoying wandering into their coop for snacks 😬😭 Needless to say, they now have a closed coop & run, and so far today I've gotten more eggs than I have all week! These pretty dog snacks will be taking a nap in my incubator now! See you in a few weeks, babies! 🐣

I will be offering these Lavender Birchens, Opal Legbar x Lavender birchens (Lavender Marsbars) and back-crossed OE very soon! Going into Winter they may be a little inconsistent until the beginning of the year, but as soon as I know how they will be offered, I'll have an announcement on this page. 💜 I have quite a few of them in my incubator, all looking great, and even sent 3 of them out in someone's dozen as a shipping test - which produced 3 little LBM chicks that hatched this week! 🐣
