Good afternoon everyone. Juat a friendly reminder that we are a foster based sanctuary. We do not have a brick and mortar building we show cats. Out felines are not up for adoption. They will live out their lives in our care. If you have any questions and need assistance please message us here or on email.

Our address in eden is a private residence of our President. Its available for donation drop offs, our mailing address as well as a pick up point for fundrasier winners.

We ask fpr privacy and respect at our homes.

So the past 2 weeks Linus has been under the weather. He had an abcess under his arm we sent some fluid out for diagnosis and it was found to have benign cancer cells. His abcess was drained and he now has 2 days left of medication and he is finally somewhat back to normal.

Linus is a special boy, and we absolutely love him here at the sanctuary. He has been with us for a couple years. He was being surrendered because he was taught at a young age it is ok to attack people when he wanted things his way, and they were getting ready to have a baby.

His foster mom has put a lot of time and effort into breaking his bad habits and he has definitely come a long way. We are happy to say he is going to make a full recovery and will most likely be back to his old antics in no time.

Good morning and Happy Tuesday family.

We have been quiet here the past couple weeks and we apologize if we are also delayed in answering messages etc.

We have been a little busy with the kitties and handling some medical issues as well as working extra hours outside of rhe sanctuary life.

The past week was just as busy as the past few.

*Oscar is recovering from his crash and vet appointment. Hes on medications to keep him stable

* We have another vet appointment for Noodles this week. He is declining and not improving at all. Hopefully we get better answers this time around

* our autoship is in 5 days and we are still short $1600. That is with our donation match. This order is our medications, supplements and some supplies. We are trying to work extra hours to help cover this but there's just not enough hours in the day.

*we are running low of wet food and a couple specialty dry foods we use. Kangaroo and sensitive stomach dry are the dry foods. As for wet food we could use all of the ones on our wishlist. We go through alot of food here are the sanctuary.

*one of our volunteers was visiting her mother and came across a tiny, scared hungry kitten. There has never been a stray cat in that area in 10 years. No one knew how it belonged to. She called and asked for advise. She trapped the kitten who is sweet and just scared. Kitten is safe with us and we will arrange vetting and work with a rescue partner to help find him a home. Updates on him to come.

* we were reached out to by a woman moving and she had a senior cat shes been feesing for over 10 years. We gave her advise and she did thw work but no one called her back or was able to help. The community she has lived in for these 10 years wouldn't help care for the cat after she moved. This girl was like clockwork and trusted this family. She trapped her with our help and this girl now named SB os sade and secure. She will be seen by the vet and live out her golden years in sanctuary life. She is not a very people friendly girl but is enjoying the indoors and feline friends. We will also update on her in the next couple days.

*We have football square available. This helps us help the kitties in the sanctuary. Please consider purchasing one.

UPDATE AS OF SUNDAY SEPT 6TH @ 7AM

We have raised $505 TOWARDS OUR SEPT 13TH AUTOSHIP. STILL SHORT $1600

ONE OF OUR SUPPORTERS IS OFFERING A MATCH TO HELP US MAKE THIS MONTHS AUTO SHIP GOAL. PLEASE CONSIDERING HELPING US HELP THE KITTIES!

Good morning. We are adjusting our auto ships for this month as we have a few changes fpr medications for cats here at the sanctuary.

Our normal order for food, litter, supplies, medicatikns and supplements run approx $2876.22 a month.

The more food, litter and supply donations we recieve monthly also helps us cut back on this order a bit.

As of today Sept 2, 2026 our order totals $2722.10. WE ARE IN NEED OF A LITTLE OVER $2100 STILL.

We need help to make this happen in 11 days. We have football squares up and running. We also have amazon and chewy wishlist on our page and our Website.

We have t-shirts for sale at $15 each for pick up or $18 to be shipped.

Happy Saturday everyone.

We are very grateful for each and every one of you who stand by us through thick and thin. We xouldnt ask for a better support group than all of you.

We are starting up supply saturday again.

Food, litter and supplies are a daily need for the sanctuary kitties.

Every one of these items we recieve hekp us focus on vet care, auto ship funding and loving these babies we are responsible for.

It has been a rough couple of months here at the sanctuary. Last week we lost Momma she made a turn for the worst and she was rushed to the Emergency vet and could not be stabilized the decision was made to let her go peacefully.

Momma has been a staple with us for years. She spent five years having babies in a barn and when the barn was shut down the entire colony was trapped, vetted and acclimated to another farm. Momma was always sick and just not surviving well outside. Not being social at all made finding a rescue impossible knowing they would most likely try to acclimate her to another outdoor home.

Even though Momma didn't like people, she definitely loved the indoor sanctuary life. You could always find her cuddled in a cat bed in front of the window or climbing the cat trees to claim the very top. We have cared for her and her colony before we even dreamed of opening Forgotten Felines of WNY.

She was loved deeply by her foster mom, who worked for years to gain her trust. She will be greatly missed by her foster family and her fur family is still looking for her.

Rest in peace sweet girl.
