Meet 11-year old Zeke: a lover of nature hikes and winter. He’s camped on Florida beaches, in the Ozarks, and in the Dakota woods. Open the trunk and he’s already in the car.
His family figured the lump he’d had was harmless. But when it started growing rapidly, and Zeke began licking it, they brought him in. Our Advanced Surgery Practice removed the mass, and unfortunately, the biopsy revealed it was cancer. The good news: the margins were clear and the outlook is hopeful. And Zeke bounced back fast. In his mom’s words, “He’s a beast!”
If you notice a lump or bump that changes, it’s worth getting checked.
Cheers to plenty of snow and road trips in your senior years, Zeke! 🐾
