OUR STORY

Allied Veterinary Service, a private locally-owned clinic, was created in response to a community-wide need for Emergency and Critical Care services in the Eau Claire, Brooklyn Park, and Twin Cities area. We provide care 24/7 in Minneapolis, overnight and 24/7 weekend and holiday care in Eau Claire and Anoka, and urgent care in Brooklyn Park.

Those ears heard that we’re open Labor Day weekend! 🐶

Our Brooklyn Park, Minneapolis, Eden Prairie and Eau Claire hospitals are open 24/7 throughout the holiday weekend.

Our Rochester and Hugo hospitals will be open continuously from Friday, September 4 at 6 pm through Tuesday, September 8 at 7 am.

Labor Day weekend is almost here! A few quick reminders to keep your pet safe during the festivities: keep them away from grills and hot coals, skip the corn on the cob, bones, and fatty scraps, watch for overheating if you're outside, be safe around water, and make sure ID tags and microchip info are up to date, just in case.

And if the unexpected does happen, we'll be here for your pet when you need us.

🐾 Hot sand and pavement can burn paws, stick to cooler hours
💧 Bring fresh water, lake and seawater aren't safe to drink
🕶 Give them shade and ask your family vet about pet-safe sunscreen
🏊 Not every pet is a natural swimmer, a life vest helps
🚫 Watch for dead fish, trash, or algae along the shore
✅ Check local alerts for water quality alerts including deadly blue green algae blooms.
