We had such an amazing time at the ISD 728 8th Grade Career and College Day at Anoka Ramsey Community College 🎓

It was a busy day filled with eager students exploring a wide variety of career paths before they make big high school decisions.

We are so passionate about getting young people interested in veterinary medicine and helping them discover the many different roles within this field 🩺

It is always an honor for Allied to represent the veterinary profession alongside so many other incredible careers in our community.

Stay tuned because round two is coming up next month.

Fallen tree nuts might look harmless, or in the case of walnuts in their green hulls, suspiciously like a tennis ball your dog absolutely wants to chase. But tree nuts can cause serious harm if eaten, from stomach upset to intestinal blockages.

Keep an eye out on walks and in the yard this season, those piles under the trees aren't as innocent as they look.

Allied knows pet emergencies are incredibly stressful. Our top priority is to make sure you feel heard, understood, and completely confident about the care your pet is receiving.

We would be a total mess if something happened to our own dogs, so we fully understand the heavy emotions involved.

We are here to care for your pet and support you, too. We are always ready to listen and guide you through it all ❤️

We had an incredible time celebrating SPARK Science of Pets Week ⚡🐾

Allied was proud to return as a Rose Sponsor of Science of Pets Week at SPARK, The Children's Museum of Rochester, as part of its STEMtember programming.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to explore the wonders of pet science. Our favorite moments included a physical exam demonstration with Gladys, learning about heart rates by listening to Dash with toy stethoscopes, and meeting Maine C***s Odin and Zeus while reading a story about being a veterinarian 🐶🐱💓

October is Pet Wellness Month, so it's a good time to book that check-up with your regular vet. The things that keep pets healthy are pretty ordinary: an annual exam, up-to-date vaccines and prevention, a healthy weight, dental care, and daily exercise. Nothing flashy, but it adds up.

If you're overdue, give your family vet a call and get on the schedule. And if the unexpected happens between visits, we're here for the emergencies!
