Abby B is such a great nurse! We are proud of her and have been blessed by her work!

We use the therapy laser daily.

It’s not a red light.

It’s a 40 watt laser that operates at varying frequencies to accomplish different goals. Our most common goals include increased blood flow, pain relief, anti-microbial effects, and anti-inflammatory effects.

It has become a common mode of treating various conditions in small animal and equine, and we are pleased to have a really nice k-laser unit in clinic and on our trucks!!

🐾 Breed Spotlight: Meet the Beauceron! 🇫🇷

Look who stopped by Castaway Animal Clinic! This handsome boy is a Beauceron, a French herding breed that we don’t get to see here.

The Beauceron is known for being intelligent, loyal, athletic, and confident. Originally bred in France to herd and guard livestock, these dogs are hardworking and incredibly devoted to their families.
And can we just talk about those ears and that gorgeous coat. We love getting to meet unique breeds like this one at Castaway! He definitely had all the attention from everyone while he was here.
