This is how we have adapted bowl games to our program. We learned it from Hannah Brannigan and ran with it for our clients to use as well. Sometimes it looks different for disabled handlers and we can add a treat and train to make things easier with less bending down as well.

Teaching what I have learned through out the years is such a sweet reminder of all the growth I have fought for as a dog trainer. Oakley got to have a fun day with us and work with a green handler for practice.

Oakley is one of our dogs for the Non Profit and I am loving working him. He is so eager, gentle and fun. The babies we get to work in this job are top tier and I am never doing anything else with my life.

Teaching leave it never has to be a correction or setting the dog up to fail. When they make that choice it is so powerful! I do not have to force it or punish anything if I do MY job and set them up for success.

Ajax is the sweetest little man and he loves to go out on the town. When he needs support, I recognize it and give it to him! It’s that simple. Sometimes by giving that support we show the dog they can do and chose the behavior we are aiming for. Social support is not coddling.
