Maine archery bear finished recently. 1/2 lifesize mounts like this are a great way to display a bear. They don’t take up the room of a life-size or rug and it still shows the claws and some habitat.

I was called to do an on site repair job on the moose that’s hanging at the Ebensburg Moose lodge. He’s pretty old and his chin had cracked and fallen off. Luckily I have a lot of scrap tanned skin that I saved from previous projects. A piece of African hartebeast matched the colors of the old faded moose darn near perfect.

Finally, the last deer of the season…2024 season. There is new work coming in already and last year’s work is still here to do. My biggest problem is always the amount of work I have to do. The amount of whitetails specifically. It’s the best problem I can think of having but still a problem. To deal with it, I will be limiting my intake again this year and taking a larger jump than usual on prices. A regular whitetail shoulder mount for this upcoming hunting season(2026) starts at $1050 plus tax.
I’ve already committed to several large life size projects. I’ll try my best to accommodate any of my past clients who return and new clients up to a certain amount of work. Thanks for the 25 years of support, patience, and trust in me to do your taxidermy.
