It's foster friday! Please meet Chimichanga!

Chimmy is the sweetest boy ever! He warms up quickly, finding the best spots nice and high up - he especially likes the top of the fridge! Chimmy's foster mom says he is very social and loves everyone. He enjoys neck and cheek scratches, and even likes to be held! He is a real charmer - it's so easy to fall in love with Chimmy!

We are unsure how this big fella will do with dogs, but we do know that he is not a fan of other cats. He wants to be your one and only feline friend!

We continue to be overwhelmed with cats + kittens. During our walkthrough this morning - we only had 4 open kennels, with cat surrenders scheduled out all the way through October.

We are out of space. We need your help!

We are once again running Same Day Cat Adoptions + Name Your Price this Friday 1-4 PM in hopes to find more loving homes for the cats and kittens in our care!

Master Gardener Teddy is here to give his professional opinion on what hose setting is the best. Do you agree with his ratings?

Teddy is a super sweet guy that takes a little extra patience to warm up. Once he does, he will glady snuggle and play to his hearts content! Teddy is super smart and eager to please - he is a great dog for someone willing to put in a little extra time to be the best canine citizzen possible!

That means you can take home a cat same day and name your price on any age of cat! Don't worry - we are still thouroughly vetting every app and making sure our cats are going to the best home for them!

We're only running Name Your Price Adoptions on kittens Friday, August 28th. Get ahead of the game and submit an app in the next few days so our staff caan review prior to Friday!

We're down to the last week of our fundraiser at Jay Rays!

The perfect excuse to treat yourself to a Jay Ray's sub sandwich is here: a fundraiser for animals in need of a home.

Local businesses Jay Ray’s and 715 Rentals / 715 Excavating have teamed up to create “The 715” sub sandwich – made with Italian sausage, marinara, provolone and oregano (add Giardiniera for a spicy kick!) — and donate a portion of its sales to the Eau Claire Community Humane Association - ECCHA.

That specialty sandwich — $3 of which will go toward ECCHA — is only available during the month of August, meaning folks have limited time left to snag one at Jay Ray's!
