Monmouth County SPCA Our mission is to protect, care and advocate for all animals. We accept all types of pet food for dogs, cats, small and furries and even wildlife.

We are open for general inquiries, surrenders, redemptions, donations and other similar orders of business every day at 10am. Our Vogel Veterinary Care Center is open 6-days a week - to make an appointment, please call 732-542-3125. Adoption Hours:

Donations:
We accept clean, gently used linens such as towels, sheets, fleece blankets, quilts and other types of single-layer blankets. We are unable to accept pillows, filled comforters, stuffed animals not meant for pets and anything else with stuffing or fill. We do accept open dry food as well. We are open for donation drop-off every day at 10am. There is a blue bin outside of our main entrance or inside of the vestibule. If you need assistance, please call when you arrive or come into the welcome center.

A 10/10 senior pittie who loves everyone! 😍

Party is an 8-year-old cuddle bug who came to us from Trenton Animal Shelter and can’t wait to find his forever home 💙 When we say this boy is perfect, we mean it - he was even selected to mingle at our Fur Ball Gala’s cocktail hour and he was an absolute star with everyone he met ✨

Party is just under 70lbs and has met dogs here at the shelter - he’s super chill and he could def co-exist with a similar temperament pup in his new home 💓 Party walks nice on leash, rubs up against you like a cat when he want pets, and is simply a wonderful dog who will make his new family complete 🫶🏻

Can you believe this beautiful puppy was found as a stray? We can’t either!

We think Moose is some kind of mastiff mix - at 8 months he already weighs over 50lbs 😍 Moose is a silly and friendly boy who loves meeting new people and greets everyone with a wagging tail and a kiss 💙 Moose loves going for walks, playing with toys, and *trying* to fit into laps for cuddles 🥰

Some are Catahoula mixed and some are pittie mixed 💙 These babes are around 10-11 weeks are are so incredibly sweet, social, lovable, and ready to go home!

All of our pets are spay/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and can’t wait to meet you ✨  We’re open today through Friday from 12-7pm and all weekend from 12-5pm, no appointments needed ✅

Don’t let this girl scroll past! She’s 10/10 perfect 💓

Leinani is a beautiful kitty who came to us as a stray with scrapes all over her and a badly injured leg - we suspect she was hit by a car, she was in so much pain 😢 Thankfully she was rescued and our Vogel Veterinary Hospital removed her leg so she could feel better 🫶🏻

Leinani spent some time in foster to recover, is now nearly 12-weeks, and ready to find a forever home 🥰 This little muffin-making queen may only have 3 legs now, but she sure doesn’t know it - Lei is the most affectionate little lady who will purr and nuzzle her way right into your heart 💜

Leinani isn’t a big fan of dogs but could live with other nice kitties 🐱 We’re open Wednesday through Friday from 12-7pm and all weekend from 12-5pm! See more cats here: bit.ly/3ea53vi

We have some new sweet baby angels here who are ready to find their families today! The “C” name girls are Catahoula mixed breed who are around 10-weeks, and the “F” names girls are terrier mixed who are around 11-weeks (names in photo caption) 😄 These pups are super sweet, social, spayed, vaccinated,
microchipped, and excited to go home today ✅

The boys from these litters are getting neutered today and will be available to meet tomorrow 💙

A true icon - Elizabeth TAILor ✨

Elizabeth is a new 1-year-young kitty waiting for her forever home here at the MCSPCA 💜 This sweet girl came to us as a lost pet with a badly injured tail that needed medical attention.

Thanks to the great work of our Vogel Veterinary Hospital, Elizabeth had surgery and is now pain (and tail) free 🫶🏻 Her little nub adds character, but honestly, her personality was all you needed to begin with 😄 Elizabeth is a friendly girl who loves people and playtime - she’ll rub up against you for pets and loves when humans visit 🥰

Croissant as a puppy vs. now 🥹

Unfortunately this little guy was adopted but after his owner passed away, needed to come back to the shelter 💔 Croissant is now 1 & 1/2 years years young and is full grown at 43lbs (those legs never grew though! 😅)

Croissant has been through so much and is still adjusting to the shelter here. He does make friends with gentle approach, so would do great in a structured home with dog-savvy owners to help guide him towards his best self 💙 This boy is still a puppy at heart and his bubbly, bouncy personality comes out with squeaky toys and treats 🍪

Max is a friendly and playful shepherd mix who is around 3 years and nearly 80lbs 😮 This handsome boy came to us from another NJ shelter and is excited to find his new family 🫶🏻

Max is a happy guy who loves going for walks, playing with toys, being brushed, and meeting new people 🥰 We thinks Max would do well in an active home with a dog-savvy fam ready to guide him with basic training to be his best self ✅ Max may be able to have a compatible canine friend!
