We are so happy to support our animal loving friends at Nevis Animal Speak for their Second Chance Pharmacy. Our shelter and Vogel Veterinary Hospital medical teams send supplies that we can no longer use for their tireless efforts to help animals 🩵

“Their generosity will help us provide essential medical care to dogs and cats across Nevis, including animals whose families might otherwise struggle to afford treatment.” - Nevis Animal Speak

We are more than willing to contribute to help any animal that needs help 🐱🐶

A heartfelt THANK YOU from Nevis Animal Speak! 🐾

We are incredibly grateful to the compassionate team at Vogel Veterinary Hospital at the Monmouth County SPCA—and the entire Monmouth County SPCA shelter team—for their generous donation to our Second Chance Pharmacy.

This wonderful gift was a joint effort by staff from the shelter, veterinary clinic, and spay/neuter center. Their generosity will help us provide essential medical care to dogs and cats across Nevis, including animals whose families might otherwise struggle to afford treatment.

Zoe also shared the exciting news that their team has already begun preparing another box for us—and we hope to welcome her to Nevis someday as a volunteer veterinary technician!

From one animal-welfare community to another, thank you for believing in our mission: No dog or cat, homed or stray, will go without necessary medical care.

Oh Honey, you're all better now!

Honey came to the VVH presenting for vomiting and diarrhea - we performed x-rays and couldn't believe our eyes! Honey had a 1/4 pound bladder stone in her tiny body that was causing her pain and discomfort. We are so thankful to her pet parents for being proactive and bringing her in for care. Without a diagnosis, Honey would have continued to decline 💔

Our medical team performed surgery and removed the stone and kept Honey to recover - she recieved cold laser therapy to promote healing too 😊 Honey’s bladderstone has been sent out for testing so that we can determine the best kind of diet moving forward to prevent future bladder stones - but for now, we expect her to make a full recovery!

The VVH is here for all of your veterinary needs, from basic vaccines to advanced surgery! Give us a call at 732-542-3125 or email [email protected] to learn more 🐱🐶

You might be cool - but are you as cool as Cherise? 😎

Cherise is a 10/10 good girl who came to our VVH to get state-of-the-art laser treatment therapy on her skin infection 💘 Laser therapy can treat wounds by promoting healing, reducing inflammation and pain, and increasing blood flow to the affected area 🫶🏻

But the best part about it are the goggles that keep those peepers protected throughout the appointment 😊 By Cherise’s second appointment, her booboo was looking significantly better!

Our VVH provides the highest level of quality veterinary care and compassion for your pets! Contact us to make an appointment at 732-542-3125 or email [email protected] 🐶🐱nt

Happy Veterinary Technicians Week 💘

Happy Veterinary Technicians Week to all of our wonderful vet techs here at the MCSPCA and Vogel Veterinary Hospital 🥳

Our vet techs see every single animal that passes though our shelter, 6,000+ just last year! They are responsible for all of our animals being healthy, happy, and safe ❤️

Each of our techs has something you can’t learn in school, and that’s compassion and kindness - it’s what sets our organization apart 😌

We wanted to thank all of our vet techs for their dedication each and every day to our shelter animals, and the animals that visit our Vogel Veterinary Hospital 🐶🐱🐭🐹🐰 We're so lucky to have all of you!

If you know a vet tech - be sure to thank them for their service 🫶🏻

High tech is what to expect here at the VVH 💙

Pictured here is one of our patients receiving state-of-the-art laser therapy after surgery. This new device is revolutionizing healing and comfort for your beloved pets!

• Stimulates healing: The laser delivers light energy to tissues, which stimulates cellular activity, increases oxygen supply, and accelerates the natural healing process.

• Reduces pain and inflammation: It is an effective non-invasive treatment for reducing pain and inflammation associated with acute and chronic conditions.

• Accurate dosing: The "SmartCoat Plus Technology" helps determine the correct dosage by considering factors like the patient's coat color, length, and skin color.

Pretty cool, right? Our furry friends think so too! Contact us to schedule your next appointment and rest assured your pets will be in the best of hands 🫶🏻 732-542-3125 or [email protected]
