From the first trees cleared to concrete going in for the tack and grooming areas, the Fairy Garden Stables renovation is coming along beautifully.

The existing six stalls are being transformed with extended rooflines and adjoining private turnout areas, giving each horse a shaded area just outside their stall with access to the mature trees and larger pasture beyond.

There’s still more to come, but it’s exciting to see this next chapter of Fairy Garden taking shape.

On a rainy morning at Lake Oconee Equestrian, Tammy takes us along before her lesson and shares a little of what has made this place so meaningful to her, from the parts of the property she loves most to the relationship she’s built with Wish over time.

For Tammy, it’s become much more than riding. It’s the connection, the learning, and the feeling she carries with her long after she leaves.
