Healing Hearts & Horses Inc HHH is a Georgia based 501c3 nonprofit that rescues horses from slaughter pens across the US. HHH rescues horses from slaughter houses/kill pens. .

After rehabilitation, our horses are shared with groups including veterans, first responders, special needs children and foster children for special events. We adopt horses of various types, ages and varying levels of health. We rehabilitate the horses and invite groups to our farm for weekend events to meet the horses, take trail rides, groom the horses, etc. Our retreats focus on veterans, first responders, at-risk youth, special needs children and children in foster care.

Lincoln, our beautiful foal, loves attention. When we saved her Mom from a kill pen, we knew she could be pregnant but to have her delivered within a week of arrival…just breaks our heart to think about what could have happened. Both are THRIVING at the rescue!

Our horses love to come in for breakfast or a bath or even grooming, but on these hot weekends, they love to enjoy their pasture and swimming in their lake! These rescue horses sure have it made here!

We know so many are invested in her story! Overall, she did great! Some things to work on, but she will be a great addition to our veteran program in time!
